We are pleased to introduce 9 Sada, a music app supporting the preservation and promotion of Uyghur language and culture.
Developed by Dr. Waris Abdukerim Janbaz with UKIJ’s support, Sada launched with approximately 11,000 songs from 250 artists, including Uyghur musicians from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. Listeners can discover music, connect with artists, share their creations, and participate in community discussions.
With a multilingual interface that includes Uyghur, Sada contributes to UKIJ’s mission of creating digital tools for our community. We welcome feedback to help improve the app and invite artists and listeners to take part.
